Job Summary :
The Telecom Projects and Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation of telecom infrastructure projects, including design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality telecom services.
Job Description :
1. Project Management :
- Plan, manage, and execute telecom projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Develop project schedules, risk mitigation plans, and stakeholder communication strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party contractors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards during project implementation.
2. Operations :
- Oversee daily telecom operations, including monitoring and troubleshooting of networks and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure network reliability and uptime.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize service quality.
- Be part of 24/7 support group and Manage incident resolution and escalate issues when necessary.
- Create and conclude trouble reports and update them with recommended solutions for the Design Maintenance team when identifying SW bugs.
- Collect customer feedback and submit it to the R and D program to continue improving the product.
- Continuously update the knowledge base and share knowledge within the organization.
- Provide on-site support when needed.
- Be part of serviceability and service preparation activities.
Skill Set / Work Experience :
- Working experience in Telco between 3 – 5 years.
- Good communication skills with customer interfacing skills and time management qualities.
- Knowledge of Telecom (Messaging /PCC /Analytics platforms)
- Knowledge of Telecom protocols [ SMPP/DIAMETER/M3UA/TCP/SCTP/HTTP/SNMP]
- Knowledge in Cloud Native concepts.
- Knowledge in IMD (Redis) , Messaging brokers (Kafka) OLTP (Oracle, MySQL) and OLAP (Vertica)
- The awareness of product security, privacy, and risk assessment.
- Deep competence in troubleshooting and fault isolation using tools in complex it/telco systems.
- Basic understanding, analyzing, and troubleshooting code.
- Experience of scripting like bash, python, Perl, and ansible.
- Ability to maintain professional communication with customers/local companies, especially in critical situations.
- Composure and readiness to work under high pressure from our customers/local companies while providing support.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience running services on Linux/Unix, Technical Support, CSR Handling, and Emergency Handling.
- A very strong customer focus.
- Ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment.
- Be a self-starter who is excited about technology.
- Good time management and multi-tasking capabilities.
- A good teammate who is also comfortable working on own initiative.

- Familiarity with general business terms and processes.

- Additional knowledge of Stiches/Routers and testing tools (example: traffic generators) is also a plus.
- Exposure to Ticketing tools like Jira Service Management, Zoho ,Zendesk etc
- To be ready to travel at short notice – national & international, as required.
Qualifications :
- BE or B. Tech Graduates in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication from a reputed institute with not less than 65% aggregate.
- BCA/MCA degrees from reputed institutes with not less than 65% aggregate.
